The CECAD Imaging Facility supports researchers of the Collaborative Research Centre 1218 in project planning, realisation and analysis of their light and electron microscopy projects. State-of-the-art fluorescence systems are available, including confocal, multiphoton as well as superresolution microscopes to examine mitochondrial dynamics, localisation and structure. For ultrastructural resolution e.g. cristae morphology, the EM platform including service personal is provided. A CLEM method (correlative light- and electron microscopy) will be established with the support of a scientific staff member.
